We protect your personal information

When using the proficafe.pl online store, customers may be asked to provide their personal information, including their first name, last name, phone number, or email address, so that the Data Controller can provide services to them through the online store.

  1. The controller of the online store’s customers’ personal data is:

Mariusz Wojciech Profi-Cafe Firma Handlowo Usługowa

    NIP: 929-126-70-13, REGON: 634398575
Registration number 20224 in the Central Register and Information System on Business Activity maintained by the Ministry of Economy.

    hereinafter referred to as ADO.
  2. The personal data collected by the Data Controller is used exclusively for purposes related to the fulfillment of orders placed in the store and, with additional consent, for informational and marketing purposes, for the needs of the www.proficafe. pl, and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
  3. The Data Controller makes every effort to protect the privacy and information provided to the proficafe.pl online store regarding the store’s customers. The Data Controller selects and implements appropriate technical measures with due diligence, including those of a programming and organizational nature, to ensure the protection of processed data; in particular, it safeguards data against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, and destruction, unauthorized modification, as well as against processing in violation of applicable laws.
  4. The Data Controller exercises constant control over the data processing process and restricts access to data to the greatest extent possible, granting appropriate authorizations only when necessary for the proper operation of the proficafe.pl online store.
  5. The basis for the processing of personal data is the consent of the Customers themselves, as well as the statutory authorization to process data necessary for the provision of services by the Data Controller through the proficafe.pl online store.
  6. Providing any personal data is voluntary, with the proviso that failure to provide the data specified in the Store’s Terms and Conditions prevents the provision of certain services, and in particular the creation of an account on the proficafe.pl online store as well as the fulfillment of an order placed by the Customer.
  7. Due to the voluntary nature of the Customer’s provision of personal data, the Customer has the right to access and correct their personal data, and may also submit a written request to the Data Controller to delete previously provided personal data from the database maintained by the Data Controller, subject to the following provision. The Data Controller may refuse to delete the data if the Customer, through their previous conduct on the proficafe.pl online store, has violated the provisions of this document or the Terms and Conditions or applicable laws, and the retention of the data is necessary to clarify these circumstances and determine the Customer’s liability.
  8. If a customer who has registered on the proficafe.pl online store needs to update their information, they can do so after logging in to the store.
  9. Personal data or information regarding Customers may be disclosed to authorities or third parties in accordance with applicable law.
  10. ADO may entrust the processing of personal data and information regarding Customers to third parties with the Customer’s express consent or at the Customer’s request, in accordance with applicable law, as well as disclose such information to authorized authorities in the event of a violation of the law by the Customer.
  11. ADO hereby informs you that customers’ personal data will be processed to the extent necessary to fulfill the service requested by the customer; accordingly, such data may be disclosed to courier companies or other entities involved in delivering purchased goods to customers, payment system operators (if this payment method is selected), and institutions providing credit for the purchase of goods (in the case of installment purchases).
  12. ADO uses IP addresses collected during internet connections for technical purposes related to server administration and to gather general statistical demographic information (e.g., about the region from which the connection originates), as well as for security purposes, including the potential identification of automated programs that browse the online store’s content and place a load on the server.
  13. When browsing the proficafe.pl online store, “cookies” are used—small text files that are stored on the customer’s device. They are used to ensure the proper functioning of the online store.
  14. The cookies used by ADO are safe for customers’ devices. In particular, it is not possible for viruses, other unwanted software, or malware to enter customers’ devices through this means. These files allow us to identify the software used by the Customer and customize the appearance of the online store for each individual Customer. Cookies typically contain the domain name from which they originate, their storage duration on the device, and an assigned value. ADO uses two types of cookies—“session” and “persistent.” The former are temporary files that remain on the Customer’s device until they log out of the website or close the software (web browser). These are mandatory files necessary for the application or other functionalities to work. “Persistent” cookies, on the other hand, remain on the Customer’s device for the duration specified in the cookie settings or until the Customer manually deletes them. The purpose of collecting these cookies is to ensure the website functions more efficiently and smoothly.
  15. ADO uses “first-party” cookies to configure the proficafe.pl online store, primarily to tailor the store’s website content to customer preferences and to optimize the user experience on the store’s websites, as well as for analysis, research, and audience auditing—including the creation of anonymous statistics—and to ensure the store’s security and reliability.
  16. ADO uses “third-party” cookies to collect general and anonymous statistical data through analytics tools, display ads tailored to the Customer's preferences using an online advertising tool, and utilize interactive features to promote the proficafe.pl online store via social media platforms.
  17. The Customer may independently change their cookie settings at any time, specifying the conditions under which cookies are stored and allowed to access the Customer’s device. The Customer may make the changes referred to in the previous sentence through their web browser settings or by configuring the service. These settings can be modified, in particular, to block the automatic use of cookies in your web browser settings or to notify you each time a cookie is placed on your device. Detailed information about the options and methods for managing cookies is available in your software (web browser) settings.
  18. The customer can delete cookies at any time using the settings in their web browser.
  19. Restricting the use of cookies may affect certain features available on the online store's website.
