Tupinamba
Tupinamba coffees have been available on the market since 1897. It was then, in Barcelona, Spain, that the sale of blends of the finest coffee varieties in customised packaging began. Today, Tupinamba coffee is available as natural Arabica and Robusta beans, as well as in a decaffeinated version. Imported from Brazil, Uganda, Vietnam and other countries in Central America and Asia, it offers a unique flavour and aroma, enhanced by the perfect roast.

Aromatic coffee bean blends
The right balance of Arabica and Robusta beans makes Tupinamba coffee ideal for brewing in espresso machines, moka pots or using the pour-over method. Examples of such products include blends containing 70% Robusta, with a dessert-like flavour and high caffeine content, and 30% Arabica, with a distinctive aroma. This strong coffee is used to prepare drinks with a unique flavour, including those with added milk, such as cappuccino or caffè latte.
Conversely, maintaining the reverse ratio in the blend – 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta – guarantees an exceptionally intense aroma and a much milder flavour. The drink’s low acidity and moderate caffeine content make this type of coffee one of the most popular varieties, favoured by many customers on a daily basis.
If, on the other hand, you opt for a 50/50 blend, you can expect a distinctive, strong coffee flavour with a deep aroma. A cup of this coffee will give you a boost and help you focus on the tasks ahead at work.
Spanish Tupinamba, 100% Arabica
This high-quality Arabica coffee from Central America is also available in a natural version. With no additives whatsoever, it captivates with its mild, full-bodied flavour and delicate crema. In this case too, you will receive a blend of beans from several plantations, but it will consist exclusively of Arabica coffee, renowned for its exceptional aroma and low caffeine content. The Tupinamba brand has its own roastery, which is why it tailors the roast level of the beans to the needs of its customers.
Different levels of coffee roasting
As the roast level of the coffee increases, the caffeine content in the beans decreases. So if you prefer a mildly stimulating coffee in the morning to lift your spirits and give you a boost, go for the breakfast variety, which is lightly roasted. This type of coffee will also offer you a range of flavour profiles characteristic of the specific variety, depending on the beans’ origin. Lightly roasted coffee contains the most caffeine, which will give you the energy you need to start the day.
Darker beans are a sign that the drink will contain less caffeine. The darker the roast, the fewer natural flavour notes you’ll find in the coffee. You’ll most often detect hints of dark chocolate or nuts. With lighter beans, you can expect to find hints of fruit or flowers, amongst other things.
In general, the degree of coffee roast is defined as:
- light (light brown grain colour)
- medium (slightly brown in colour)
- medium dark (dark brown beans)
- dark (dark brown, almost black beans)
So choose the type of coffee that suits you best and enjoy its rich flavour and the positive effect it has on your well-being.
Tupinamba products are recommended for use in both domestic espresso and piston coffee machines, as well as in professional automatic coffee machines and coffee vending machines.
